When Belóved Gallery first dreamed of sharing Akiane Kramarik’s work with the world, no one pictured Seoul. From November 2025 through March 2026, A Journey of Faith Through Art filled SaRang Church, and thousands of visitors came to stand in front of the paintings. This film gathers what they said as they walked back out. Some of it is in English. Most of it is in Korean. Nearly all of it says the same thing.

Akiane: A Journey of Faith Through Art ran at SaRang Church in Seoul from November 2025 through March 2026, the first international presentation of the Belóved Gallery exhibition. Visitors moved through an immersive, multi-sensory experience built around Akiane Kramarik’s paintings, her poetry, and her own recorded voice. What they described on the way out had almost nothing to do with technique. They spoke about being startled. About feeling seen. About a young artist reaching something they did not have words for. More than one said they felt they had walked into heaven. The flagship exhibition, Akiane: The Early Years, remains on view in Marble Falls, Texas, where Prince of Peace hangs and admission is always free. The international exhibition continues to travel.
[Lewis Cirne, Co-Founder Belóved Gallery, English] We had no idea how it was going to come true, but we dreamed of sharing remarkable art, and an even more remarkable story, with the world. Little did we know that would involve Korea. But here we are, because God is doing amazing things.
[Hak-man Hwang, Artist, Korean] 사람이 하나님의 형상대로 창조되었는데, 그 예술가를 통해서 하나님의 창조성이 발현되는 것, 그렇게 나타난 것에 큰 감동을 받고, 참 하나님의 사람, 하나님의 예술가다, 그런 생각이 들었어요.
[English Translation] Human beings are created in the image of God, and seeing God’s creativity revealed through an artist deeply moved me. It made me think of her as a person of God, an artist of God.
[Akiane Kramarik, Master Fine Artist, English] I was overwhelmed with love coming here to Korea. I want to show, and hope that through my works and through my art I can at least be a small bridge between heaven and earth. In between the invisible and visible.
[Rian Kim, Enterpreneur, Korean] 아키아나님의 작품을 보고서, 충격으로 표현하기 어려운, 작품을 보면서 깜짝 놀랐어요. 저는 아직 이런 미술 쪽의 작품을 잘 모르고 그런 감각이 없는 일반 평범한 사람인데도 불구하고, 이분의 작품에는 뭔가 충격과 감동과 설명할 수 없는 묘함을 느꼈습니다. 그다음 작품에 갈수록 천국에 와 있다는 느낌이 들었어요. 정말.
[English Translation] I’m an ordinary person without much background in art, yet her works gave me shock, emotion, and an indescribable sense of mystery. As I continued, it began to feel like I was entering heaven.
[Hye-young Park, Housewife, Korean] 그 영상을 보면서 하나님의 세계가 얼마나 크고 위대한지 아키아나를 통해서 우리들에게 전해 주신 것 같아서 너무 감사한 시간이었습니다.
[English Translation] Watching the video, I felt how vast and great God’s world is, through Akiane, that message was delivered to us. I was truly grateful for that time.
[Jeong-hee Kim, Actress, Korean] 하느님이 살아 계시는 걸 알고 늘 곁에 계시는 거는 알고 있지만, 살다 보면 세상 속에 찌들어서 지냈잖아요. 근데 다시 한번 그 그림 속에 눈을 보면서, 빛이 빨려들 것 같고 뭔가를 말씀하신 것 같은 느낌이 들었습니다. 살아 계시는구나. 내 곁에 계시는구나.
[English Translation] I know God is real and He is always with me. But in everyday life, we get so immersed in the world that we forget. Looking again into the eyes in that painting, His gaze felt so intense, almost as if it was drawing me in. It felt like He was trying to say something to me. I felt in my heart, “He is alive. He is with me.”
[Kyung-rae Kim, Senior Elder, Korean] 젊은 나이로서 아주 원숙한 미술적인 경지를 뛰어넘어서, 하나님의 세계와 연결되는 그런 아주 놀라운 영적인 분위기를 알게 되었고요. 그리고 이 작품을 돌아보는데, 도저히 그 나이로는 상상할 수 없는 완숙한 대미술가의 작품이라고 생각됩니다.
[English Translation] Although she is young, her work goes far beyond her age. I sensed an extraordinary spiritual atmosphere connected to the world of God through her works. As I looked at the painting, it was hard to believe it was created at such a young age, eight and now thirty-one. It felt like the work of a great master.
[Lewis Cirne, Co-Founder Belóved Gallery, English] You know, Akiane’s story is a global one. It doesn’t matter where you are in the world or who you are. You’re touched, and it’s beautiful to see that just like people in Marble Falls, Texas are transformed when they see this art, so are the people of Seoul, Korea.
