Belóved Gallery is excited to announce that Planted Eyes will be joining the exhibition, Akiane: The Early Years, on October 27th! Oil on canvas, Planted Eyes was completed by Akiane Kramarik at the age of 8 measuring 36 x 48 inches.
Akiane shares about the portrait, “In Planted Eyes, I wanted to express the beauty and the suffering of the black race. It was my first oil painting and the fastest portrait – taking me only fifteen hours from a sketch to the very end.”
Planted Eyes will be unveiled during Belóved Gallery’s Fall Affair: A Celebration of Faith through Art, along with the previously announced acrylic Infinite Perspective and one other masterpiece yet to be revealed.
