Dear Friend,
As we enter 2025, let’s focus on the celebrated miracle of the incarnation of God coming to earth as we reengage in our day-to-day lives with family and friends. What would it look like to carry Emmanuel, which in Hebrew means God with us throughout the year?
Akiane’s artistic masterpieces reveal the humanity of God in His son, Jesus. Belóved Gallery guests often describe feeling His presence when they view her paintings, describing this experience as being face-to-face with God. In Akiane’s book, Akiane: Her Life, Her Art, Her Poetry, she reveals similar encounters with Jesus in her everyday moments. God was with her and is now showing Himself to us through her works.
At age 10, Akiane painted Jesus: The Missing Years, which depicts a teenage Jesus rarely portrayed in art. For Akiane, this face represents a deeper aspect of God and His connection to humanity: “He is timeless—and because of that, you can catch a glimpse of Him as a teenager and an adult all at once.”

God exists beyond time, making it all the more profound that He entered it as a human. In another painting she also created at age 10, Dreams, Akiane again depicted Jesus as a teenager, revealing places and events she did not know. When asked about these images as a child artist, she answered, “God knows everything and talks with me.” Dreams features past, present, and future buildings. To Akiane, the color orange represents listening.

God desires connection with us. He finds remarkable ways to be close to us, the most amazing being that He became human. God is with us in every moment: in every thought, every joy, every tear, every sorrow, and every breath. A union with Him is always available to us when we make room.
Let this be our year of seeking Emmanuel’s face more and more, revealing His unconditional love and eternal life to all who hear His story.
We await your arrival,
Team Belóved

Meet Kynnadi and Janai
From the moment Janai stepped into Belóved Gallery with her daughter, Kynnadi, she found it hard to stop the tears.
“I immediately felt the presence of God,” she shared.
Little did she know what was in store. Both mother and daughter floated effortlessly between each colorful masterpiece by the child prodigy, reading Akiane’s poetry and thought-provoking words. When they finally landed in the Prince of Peace Sanctuary, the pair lingered.
“There were so many different emotions in the face that Akiane painted, depending on how you looked at it,” Kynnadi, a high schooler who loves theater and dancing, recalled in describing her profound experience of seeing Prince of Peace. “His eyes were comforting. They stare into your soul. He had this strength that reminded me…
ON BELÓVED GALLERY
I came from another country, and seeing Akiane’s paintings was an unforgettable experience. I met her two years ago after having several experiences with God. My childhood was similar to hers because I had many spiritual experiences. However, it was the spiritual awakening I had on December 21, 2021, that led me to start following Akiane’s paintings. She left a sign of her own awakening in all of the paintings in this exhibition, especially the paintings from 2022. Thank you for this experience; it was very special to me.

FALL AFFAIR
OCTOBER 24-25, 2025
COMMISSIONED:

Our 3rd Annual Fall Affair, Commissioned: Sharing Faith through Art, will be held October 24-25, 2025. The word commissioned means to appoint, produce, and bring into working condition. An artist can be commissioned to create a meaningful work of art. God also commissioned us into His family as sons and daughters, individual masterpieces designed by the Master Artist Himself. Building on this foundation, Jesus’s final words on earth called for the Great Commission, an invitation to share with the entire world the profound work of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, His unbreakable love for every one of us, and His promise of eternal life.
