Imagine the wonder and awe of encountering a presence so pure and comforting that even as a young child, your heart is forever transformed. Meeting Jesus face-to-face in Heaven would feel like being transformed into a space where Divine love and hope surround you—an experience that would stay etched in your soul forever. This was exactly what little Hadarah Belle encountered.
At the age of three, Hadarah Belle dreamt about Heaven. Her family had recently moved to a brand new home, and she was feeling grief from the loss of the extended family and friends they had left behind. At times, she would wake up crying at night. Her parents prayed for God to heal Hadarah’s heart.
One night, Hadarah woke crying, and her mother rushed into the room to comfort her, thinking she was still struggling with her grief. But this time, Hadarah was crying for a different reason.
“I was in Heaven, and it felt like 100 years. I want to go back to Heaven right now. I want to fall asleep again so I can see Jesus.”
Can you imagine meeting Jesus face-to-face as a child?
Now five years old, Hadarah shares about her incredible journey to Heaven, where an unexpected encounter with her older sister revealed the miraculous nature of her visit.
The first time Hadarah saw Prince of Peace, she said, “That’s my Jesus!” She shared with her mom how Akiane’s painting looked like the face she saw in Heaven.
At Belóved Gallery, we have received many similar stories from people who have seen Jesus through near-death experiences, dreams, or visions. They have shared that Akiane’s Prince of Peace very closely resembles the face they have seen. While there is mystery in this, we can be sure that Jesus reveals Himself to us in personal ways and works through art to connect us to His love and presence.
Visit Akiane: the Early Years to learn more about Akiane’s miraculous story and admire her stunning masterpieces created between the ages of 8 and 16. Her childhood dreams and visions inspired several of the paintings in the collection.
