Akiane: A Journey of Faith Through Art

An extraordinary movement has been unfolding in Seoul, South Korea.
Over the past four months, more than 15,500 guests from 37 countries have walked through Akiane: A Journey of Faith Through Art, Belóved Gallery’s first international exhibition, and have left forever changed.
Guests pass through sky blue arches into a corridor filled with dazzling light, encountering 20 stunning masterpieces that reveal Akiane’s remarkable perspective on life and spirit. Her spoken words and childhood drawings span the walls. Clips of her news appearances flicker on retro cube televisions, drawing guests into her story. An immersive film plays on a sweeping curved screen, digitally transforming Akiane’s work to life through cinematic animation and music. Guests finally come face to face with Akiane’s renowned portrait of Jesus, Prince of Peace, the image that has stirred millions worldwide.
Across language and culture, something deeper is at work. Art has a way of slipping past our differences—of reaching the places words cannot—and drawing us closer to the heart of God. That truth is on full display in Seoul.
