What We Create From a Place of Being Fully Loved
Dear Friend,
Before anything is made, it must first be imagined, dreamt about, deeply considered, and thoughtfully planned. What starts as a single idea becomes a relationship between the creator and every expression of the creation. In such a process, the creation becomes fully known to its maker as it is brought into existence.
Put this in the context of art: a painter who has memorized every stroke of their masterpiece knows the layers of charcoal, color, shape, and line that lie beneath the finished work. A musician with every note and rest intentionally placed can speak to all the drafts of scribbled instrumentation before the perfect melody emerges. A coder building software line by line faces the infinite potential that lies within a single program. The artist, or creator, is the one most intimately connected to what has been made, seeing all the capabilities and possibilities.
It is the same for us as human beings.
Before we became finished masterpieces, we too were dreamt of, considered, and intricately designed, part by part, body, mind, and spirit. We are fully known by the One who created us. A knowing that is never shaken or forgotten.
At Belóved, we believe this understanding of being fully known by God is foundational to everything we do. That’s why we champion people rather than products. An artist is more than their artwork. A teacher is more than their knowledge. A pastor is more than their sermons. We are beings in process with an all-knowing God, not defined by what we’ve built or finished, but by a God who sees all we are made to be and loves us right where we are today.
Imagine then what we might dream about, consider, and plan from a place of being fully known and fully loved. This is God’s eternal invitation to us: to know that we were created in love and to live from that knowing.
