At Belóved Gallery, we are continually moved by the deeply personal stories our guests share—testimonies of connection, revelation, and transformation. Again and again, we hear how Akiane’s portrayal of Jesus resonates profoundly, awakening something eternal in those who stand before it. For many, it is the humanity in his eyes that speaks the loudest, reminding them that He understands, He sees, and He walks with us still.
Prophetic art is created in prayerful partnership with God to convey His heart, insight, or encouragement through visual imagery. One guest’s story comes from Dana Sleger, the daughter of a prophetic artist, who helps explain what many guests feel about Akiane’s work — that a painting can do more than just depict — it can minister.
Together with her mother, Dana visited Belóved Gallery to experience Akiane’s work firsthand. The two were deeply moved by Akiane’s story of being commissioned at a young age and her courage in painting for God. They left even more convinced of the unique role art plays in connecting people to their Divine Creator.
Watch as Dana recounts her visit to Belóved Gallery with her mother, explains the true nature of prophetic art, and shares why Akiane’s work impacts the world in profound ways.
