From a very young age, Akiane Kramarik was commissioned by God to be an artist, a calling she says came to her through vivid visions and Divine encounters. By the age of ten, she was creating astonishingly lifelike and spiritual paintings, many of which depicted heavenly scenes and portraits of Christ with a depth of emotion and detail far beyond her years. To say Akiane was commissioned by God as a child is only part of her story. Today, her work continues to bear the unmistakable mark of Divine inspiration. Her brush strokes capture not just physical form, but the unseen soul of her subjects. Her art is magnetic, inviting viewers into a sacred moment of awe and reflection. Each painting seems to echo the original calling God put on her heart, affirming that her talent is not only a gift but a mission she continues to fulfill through her life.

Much like Akiane, we each have a unique process, intricately woven into the fabric of our being by God, who sees beyond the present moment into the fullness of our lives. When God commissions us, it is not for a fleeting task or a temporary role—it is a lifelong calling rooted in His eternal plan. His purpose for us is not confined to a single event or season but unfolds through every stage of our journey, shaping our identity, relationships, and how we love and serve others. Even when we feel insignificant or uncertain, God’s calling remains steadfast, reminding us that our lives are meant to reflect his glory and fulfill His will in meaningful and eternal ways.

Inspired by Akiane’s work, Beami tenderly gave his heart to Jesus and grew in confidence and vision. He took a risk to change careers following where he felt God was leading. Today, Beami works as an actor and musician, having already earned roles in popular TV shows such as The Chosen.

Just as God commissioned Akiane to create art that stirs souls and points hearts to Heaven, Beami’s experience at Belóved Gallery awakened something deep within him, a divine nudge toward his calling. His story is a reminder that God’s commissions often come quietly, through unexpected moments that change the course of our lives. Whether through a brush stroke, conversation, or chance encounter, God invites each of us to step into the purpose He’s prepared. Beami’s journey is not just about a career change, it’s about responding to the whisper of God’s voice, saying go, create, speak, serve. We are all commissioned, called not just to admire the light, but to carry it.

Toni Blackington lives in the heart of the Texas Hill Country in Marble Falls, where she enjoys small-town life alongside her husband of 28 years. Together, they’ve raised three children, and she considers it her greatest honor to have been entrusted by the Lord to raise and walk alongside these remarkable end-time warriors. With a background in education and experience writing for family and Christian journals, city newspapers, and children’s literature, Toni now pours her heart into writing devotionals and prayer journals. Her words reflect a life deeply touched by God’s mercy—a mercy that never stopped pursuing her, that forgave, redeemed, delivered her from darkness, and filled her with the Holy Spirit. Toni is forever thankful to Jesus, the Living Water that wells up inside and overflows onto pages with words. It’s her joy to encourage others to sit in the presence of God, approach His throne with confidence by the atoning blood of Jesus, and move from glory to glory by the power of the Holy Spirit. Her heart burns to encourage the body of Christ to prepare for His return…because, yes, He is coming back for His bride!

The word commissioned means to appoint, produce, and bring into working condition. An artist can be commissioned to create a meaningful work of art. God also commissioned us into His family as sons and daughters, individual masterpieces designed by the Master Artist Himself. Building on this foundation, Jesus’s final words on earth called for the great commission, an invitation to share with the entire world the profound work of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, His unbreakable love for every one of us, and His promise of eternal life.
