SAM RYAN
Prayer
2024 | Acrylic on Canvas
Jesus kept going to the mountains, the wilderness, and the gardens to pray. When my life got heavy, I found the same peace on long walks in nature. The night before the crucifixion, He prayed in Gethsemane. That night was my inspiration.
Luke 22:41–42
“And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.”
– LUKE 22:41–42 (KJV)
